RFP For Bathroom Fixtures

Date Issued: February 27, 2026″ 

DUE DATE: April 15, 2026 

General Description: The Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park District has two 2 parks which require new bathroom fixtures be installed and made to be in working condition. Old fixtures are to be removed and disposed of.  

Service Requested: Installation of new bathroom fixtures, with service provided by a qualified plumber. Removal of old fixtures.

Please submit written quotes in accordance with the following specifications: 

SPECIFICATIONS: 

  1. Remove existing toilets, nine (9) total and replace all nine (9) with American Standard Cadet 3 elongated white toilets. Provide and install new supply lines on all new toilets. 
  1. Remove existing wall hung basins, four (4) total and replace with four (4) American Standard white basins. Provide and install new supply lines and waste lines on all four (4) new sinks. 
  1. Provide and install new self-closing single basin faucets on each of the four (4) sinks.  
  1. Flush existing floor drains to ensure proper free flow of water.  
  1. Work to be completed on or before May 20, 2026. 

CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. Contractor must possess any current licenses/certificates required to complete the work in accordance with any applicable state, county or local law. 
  1. The CNSPD may make inquiries to determine the qualifications of the Contractor. CNSPD reserves the right to reject any Proposal in qualifications do not meet CNSPD standards within the complete discretion of the commissioners of the CNSPD. 
  1. Contractor shall submit to CNSPD prior to commencement of work, a certificate of insurance showing the required liability insurance coverage. 
  1. Contractor shall maintain the types of insurance coverage as follows: 
  • Worker Compensation Insurance, as required by applicable law. The coverage must be evidenced on a C-1 05.2 form or if except on a CE-200 form.  Please reference www.wcb.state.ny.us/main/forms if you have any questions. 
  • Disability benefits insurance must be evidenced on a DB-102.1 form or if exempt on a CE-200 form.  
  • General liability insurance to include bodily injury and injury to property including full Contractual Liability Coverage  in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 General Aggregate. 
  • CNSPD shall be named as an additional insured on the liability policy. No work shall be performed until all required insurances are received. 
  1. All proposals are to be submitted in a sealed, opaque envelope and should be clearly labeled “BATHROOM FIXTURES”. Proposals may be mailed to: CNSPD, P.O. Box 331, Cutchogue, New York 11935. Proposals may also be delivered to the Cutchogue Free Library on March 25, 2026 between 4:45pm-6:15pm at the public meeting of the CNSPD at 27550 Main Road, Cutchogue, New York 11935.
